St. Norbert's Altar Server Awards 2023

For 36 years, the Greater Toronto Area Serra Clubs have been celebrating the devotion and achievements of altar servers from various parishes across the Archdiocese of Toronto through the annual Bishop’s Altar Server Awards for Service.

Every year, local churches are invited to put forward nominations for altar servers who exemplify a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and commitment to their roles. In 2023, the selected servers were honoured in a series of four celebrations. These events included a Mass conducted by their regional auxiliary bishop, a ceremony where medals were presented, and a reception attended by families, friends, and pastors.

In these celebrations, a total of 583 altar servers from 110 parishes were recognized for their exemplary service. Notably, 10 altar servers from St. Norbert's Parish were among those honoured. They received their awards from Bishop Ivan Camilleri, marking a significant recognition of their dedication and service at St. Norbert's Parish.
